About the Yamaha PW-X3
The PW-X3 is Yamaha's flagship mid-drive for e-MTBs, introduced in 2021 for model year 2022. It succeeds the PW-X2, delivers 85 Nm and weighs 2.75 kg.
It offers five assistance levels including the strong EXPW mode, plus an Automatic Support Mode that switches assistance based on riding conditions. Control units include the compact Interface X remote.
