Overview
Affordable 4-piston Magura brake with forged caliper, textured Carbotecture lever and EASY LINK; 250 g, RRP 109.90 EUR per brake.
Magura revived the LOUISE name in 2025 to bring its 4-piston performance to a lower price. The LOUISE ELITE uses the proven one-piece forged 4-piston caliper, with optimised seals and machining that Magura says gives more reliable piston retraction than the MT5, and a larger master piston for a defined, harder pressure point.
The Carbotecture master and lever feature textured grip areas, a one-piece Carbotecture IG clamp that clips on without removing grips and accepts Shiftmix IG adapters, and EASY LINK hose connection. It is compatible with all Magura 2.0 mm rotors, including the new MDR-S 2.0, and is listed by Magura as Bosch eBike ABS compatible.
