Overview
The Simplon Rapcon AL:e Core (€5,614) is the entry build of the Rapcon AL:e: Bosch Performance Line PX Gen5 (85 Nm) with 600 Wh, RockShox Zeb Base fork, RockShox Super Deluxe shock, SRAM Eagle 70 transmission and Magura Louise Elite brakes. Claimed weight is 26.6 kg.
The Rapcon AL:e is the aluminium sibling of the Rapcon :e: a 160/160 mm e-enduro bike whose three-piece main frame is gravity-cast, with a 64° head angle, a 77.5° effective seat angle, 29-inch wheels and a mullet option via flip chip. It is rated for a 150 kg system weight.
The Core build uses the Bosch Performance Line PX Gen5 with a 600 Wh battery; Core+ and Expert step up to the Performance Line CX Gen5 and 800 Wh. The battery comes out through a hatch, and a 250 Wh range extender fits every frame size.
