Overview
The Radon Recap 8.0 (€4,999) is the entry build of the Recap: Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 (100 Nm) with 600 Wh, Fox 36 Performance fork, Fox Float X Performance shock, SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission and Magura Louise brakes. Claimed weight is 21.3 kg.
The Recap is Radon's full-carbon trail e-MTB (carbon main frame and rear triangle) with 150 mm of travel front and rear, 29-inch wheels and an adjustable head angle. It uses the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 Smart System motor (100 Nm, up to 750 W) with a 600 Wh Powertube battery in the down tube.
The optional Bosch PowerMore 250 range extender raises capacity to 850 Wh. Radon lists claimed weights of 21.3 to 21.65 kg (smallest size, without pedals) across the three builds, which come in sizes S to XL.
