Overview
The Simplon Rapcon :e Expert+ (€8,279) is a mid-range build of the Rapcon :e: Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 (85 Nm) with 800 Wh, RockShox Zeb Select Plus fork, RockShox Super Deluxe select plus shock, SRAM Eagle 90 transmission and Magura Louise Elite brakes. Claimed weight is 24.2 kg.
The Rapcon :e is Simplon's carbon e-enduro bike for all-mountain and enduro terrain: 160 mm of travel front and rear on a four-bar rear end, 29-inch wheels with mullet compatibility, a 64° head angle and size-specific chainstays. The system weight rating is 150 kg.
All Core Selection builds use the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 (85 Nm, up to 120 Nm via the eBike Flow app) with a 600 or 800 Wh battery removable through a battery hatch; a 250 Wh range extender is optional. Cables run externally for easier servicing, and the Ultimate+ build gets Shimano XT Di2 with Bosch eShift.
