Magura's lightweight trail brake set with a 4-piston front and 2-piston rear caliper, carbon HC levers and 230 g average per brake; RRP 596.90 EUR.
The MT Trail concept pairs a 4-piston caliper at the front for maximum braking power with a 2-piston caliper at the rear for modulation. The MT Trail SL is the lightweight premium version, with a chrome finish, Carbotecture SL masters, aluminium clamps and 1-finger HC carbon levers that Magura says are stiffer than the aluminium equivalents.
Magura quotes 240 g for the front and 220 g for the rear brake, an average of 230 g per brake. Pads are MDP 7 BLACK (rear) and MDP 9 BLACK (front), on 2.0 mm rotors.
