Overview
The more affordable GUSTAV: 4 x 19 mm pistons, 2.5 mm rotors, approved to 250 kg total weight and E-MTB listed; 328 g, RRP 204.90 EUR per brake.
The GUSTAV ELITE brings the GUSTAV platform to a lower price point. It keeps the oversized one-piece forged 4-piston caliper with 19 mm pistons and a 12 mm radial master piston, uses 2.5 mm thick rotors with a 2.1 mm wear limit, and is approved by Magura for bikes up to 250 kg total weight.
The lever is made from Carbotecture with textured polygons in the grip area, the master connects to the hose via EASY LINK, and an optional switch lever can activate a rear brake light. Magura quotes 194% pad wear volume compared with an MT A2 and lists E-MTB, Gravity, SUV and Allroad as fields of application.
