Overview
The Rotwild R.X1000 Ultra (€11,990) is the top build of the R.X1000: Pinion MGU E1.12 (85 Nm) with 1,060 Wh, FOX 36 Float Factory Kashima fork, FOX Float Factory Kashima shock, the Pinion 12-speed gearbox and MAGURA Gustav Pro brakes. Claimed weight is 24.3 kg.
The R.X1000 is Rotwild's carbon e-MTB for long off-road tours, built around the Pinion MGU E1.12: a motor-gearbox unit with 85 Nm and 12 electronically shifted gears, driving a singlespeed chain. The IPU1000 Ultracore battery holds 1,060 Wh (48 V) and has an ABUS lock.
It has 150 mm of travel front and rear, mixed wheels (29-inch front, 27.5-inch rear), a 66° head angle and a carbon linkage. It comes in S to XL; Rotwild lists 24.1 to 24.8 kg depending on build and source.
