Overview
Maxxis Forekaster: a fast-rolling downcountry and trail tread for 100–130 mm bikes, in 27.5", 29" and 32" with EXO or EXO+ casing.
The current Forekaster, released in July 2022, is aimed at short-travel (100–130 mm) 'downcountry' trail bikes. Maxxis calls it a 'Goldilocks' tyre: it rolls faster than a Minion or Dissector but gives more predictable cornering, climbing and braking traction than an Aspen or Rekon.
It comes in 27.5", 29" and 32", in 2.40" and 2.60" widths, with Dual or MaxxTerra compound and 60 TPI EXO or EXO+ casing.
