Overview

Maxxis Minion DHX: the new dry-conditions DH/enduro tyre in 27.5"/29" × 2.50", available with the E25/E50-rated New DH casing.

The Minion DHX is Maxxis' newest dry-conditions gravity tyre. It was developed from the demands of the brand's top athletes for more support, control and confidence on modern downhill tracks, with improved casing structure, compounds and tread layout. Jackson Goldstone won the 2025 World Championships in Champéry on it.

It comes in 27.5" and 29" × 2.50", in MaxxTerra and 3C MaxxGrip compounds, with EXO+, DoubleDown and the new DH casing. Maxxis says the New DH casing supports 2–3 psi lower pressures than the previous DH casing and is E25 and E50 rated.

  • Next-generation dry tread, developed with Maxxis World Cup athletes
  • Available with the New DH casing, which is E25 and E50 rated
  • New DH casing runs 2–3 psi lower than the previous DH casing
  • MaxxTerra or 3C MaxxGrip compound
