Overview
The Whyte Karve RS (£5,650) is the entry build of the Karve: DJI Avinox M2S (150 Nm) with 800 Wh, RockShox Lyrik Select fork, RockShox Super Deluxe Select shock, SRAM Eagle 90 T-Type mechanical and SRAM Maven Base brakes.
Karve is Whyte's 160 mm full-power e-MTB, built around the DJI Avinox M2S motor (up to 150 Nm and 1300 W peak, five assistance modes including Auto and Boost) with an 800 Wh battery bolted into the frame and an Avinox DPC100 OLED touchscreen in the top tube.
It has 160 mm of Quad-Link 4 rear suspension with custom-tuned shocks, a 160 mm fork, 29-inch wheels (MX ready) and geometry adjustment. The RSX uses a full carbon frame with RideWrap protection and a 12 A fast charger (80% in about 1 h 45 min); the RS pairs a carbon main frame with an alloy swingarm. Whyte quotes 22.9 kg for the RSX in size L.
