British brand Whyte is pushing back into mainland Europe, and its new Avinox-powered Whyte Karve and Karve EVO eMTBs are leading the charge. On 1 October Whyte announced an exclusive distribution deal for France with Royal Vélo France (RVF), shortly after confirming its return to Germany and Austria with its own local team.

Whyte Karve in France: debut at Roc d'Azur

RVF will sell Whyte's mountain bike, gravel and urban/trekking ranges to French dealers, with the Karve and Karve EVO eMTBs at the front. French dealers and media can see the bikes on the RVF stand at the Roc d'Azur in Fréjus (8–11 October 2026). Dealer sales start straight after the show, and bikes are due in French shops from spring 2027. RVF will handle sales, stock, warranty, spare parts, dealer training and credit control, while marketing is shared with Whyte.

Germany and Austria: a dedicated local team

In Germany and Austria, Whyte is rebuilding its presence with a German-based team for sales, marketing and warranty, led by German Sales & Marketing Manager Sebastian Tegtmeier. Dealer meetings began in late September 2026, with first stock expected in March 2027. The European push follows Whyte's return to the US, where it is selling directly and only through independent dealers, starting in the Western States with inventory due in February 2027.

What the Karve and Karve EVO offer

Both platforms share Whyte's Quad-Link Four suspension layout, the DJI Avinox M2S motor rated at up to 150 Nm and 1,300 W, and an 800 Wh battery. The Karve is a 160 mm, full-29er trail/enduro bike from 22.9 kg (size L); the Karve EVO is a 180 mm mullet gravity and self-shuttle bike from 24.4 kg (size L). Both have a high/low geometry adjustment, and Whyte backs every frame with a lifetime frame and pivot-bearing warranty for the original owner (registration within 28 days required). RSX models come with factory-fitted RideWrap frame protection.
