The EVO PRO is TRP's top four-piston brake for downhill, enduro and eMTB riding, offering high power, precise modulation, a light lever feel and adjustment of both reach and bite point. It is the platform that carried Frameworks Racing/TRP to World Cup downhill wins, and TRP's FAQ calls it well suited to E-MTB thanks to higher power output and heat resistance, recommending 203 mm or 223 mm rotors for heavy bikes and riders over 90 kg.
TRP's EVO brakes come from the brand's World Cup downhill programme and are designed around 2.3 mm thick rotors, with high-flow four-piston calipers, a 5 mm hydraulic hose optimised for internal routing and thermal stability, banjo hose connections, top-loading pads and the EZ-Plug system, which keeps the brake pre-bled while the hose is shortened for internal routing. The EVO PRO adds the Pad Activation Dial (PAD) for adjusting modulation and bite point, a lever reach adjust dial and an ergonomic lever blade, and is listed as compatible with Bosch ABS PRO. TRP quotes 309 g front and 323 g rear, in gold, silver/grey or black.
