The EVO Comp is the most affordable way into TRP's EVO four-piston platform, aimed at trail, enduro, downhill and eMTB riding. TRP describes it as 'no frills, just performance', with the same stopping power as the EVO PRO and precise modulation.
TRP's EVO brakes come from the brand's World Cup downhill programme and are designed around 2.3 mm thick rotors, with high-flow four-piston calipers, a 5 mm hydraulic hose optimised for internal routing and thermal stability, banjo hose connections, top-loading pads and the EZ-Plug system, which keeps the brake pre-bled while the hose is shortened for internal routing. The Comp uses a tooled lever-reach adjuster and is listed as compatible with Bosch ABS PRO. TRP quotes 301 g front and 315 g rear.
