Overview

Motive Bronze is the entry-level Motive Heavy Duty 4-piston brake with a stealth parallel lever – €190 per brake.

Motive is SRAM's lighter Heavy Duty four-piston brake, born from the legacy of two of SRAM's winningest brakes and aimed at modern XC-race and trail bikes. SRAM describes it as having Code-like power in a low-weight package, with a stealth parallel lever body designed to complement AXS cockpits.

SRAM groups its mountain brakes into Heavy Duty (four-piston brakes with set-it-and-forget-it simplicity: Motive and DB) and Extreme Duty (Maven, the most progressive power for gravity and heavy braking). All use SRAM's proprietary seals with mineral oil co-developed with Maxima, and work with 160, 180, 200 and 220 mm rotors in 6-bolt and Centerlock.
