Overview

Magura's 2.5 mm thick rotor for GUSTAV-class brakes and heavy bikes, in 180 or 203 mm; 266 g at 203 mm, RRP 55.90 EUR.

The MDR-S 2.5 is Magura's 2.5 mm thick one-piece steel rotor, introduced with the GUSTAV brakes. An optimised friction ring design and the extra stiffness of the thicker rotor reduce vibration and noise, while the added mass gives stability during long braking or with high system weights.

It is available in 180 and 203 mm for 6-bolt mounts, with a 2.1 mm wear limit.

  • 2.5 mm thick, 2.1 mm wear limit
  • Optimised friction ring for less vibration and noise
  • Extra mass for long descents and heavy bikes
  • 180 / 203 mm, 6-bolt
