Owners of eMTBs with a Fazua Ride 60 or Ride 50 motor now know who looks after their drive once Fazua's parent company shuts down. Porsche eBike Performance GmbH ends business operations on 31 October 2026, and Fazua service, warranty processing and the Fazua App pass to CTDI GmbH from Malsch in Germany. Fazua informed its dealers on 23 October and then contacted riders by email and on social media.
CTDI is a family-owned repair specialist with roots in telecommunications, more than 20,000 employees and over 100 sites. It is not new to e-bike drives: the company already repairs Kalkhoff Impulse drive components.
Fazua service after 31 October: who to contact
The first stop for any problem stays the bike shop – either the dealer who sold the bike or any other Fazua dealer. Warranty claims can also be filed directly through the CTDI-run support portal at fazuawarranty.ctdi.eu. The portal already carries the Fazua branding and hosts the dealer locator, the Toolbox software, firmware downloads and help pages for both Ride 50 and Ride 60.
For workshops there are two dates to note: the shop in the Fazua dealer portal closed on 14 October and a replacement is expected in the coming weeks, while the deadline to claim the service flat fee for Fazua cases is 30 November 2026. How that fee will be handled afterwards has not been announced.
Fazua App: act by 28 October to keep your data
The Fazua App changes operator on 31 October. Riders had to agree by 28 October to move their account data to CTDI. Those who agreed keep their profile, rides, riding statistics and custom assist profiles – including health-related data such as heart rate, weight and height. Without consent, the account is deleted after 28 October, the link between bike and app is removed and rides and profiles are lost. A new account can be created afterwards under CTDI's terms, and the bike can then be paired again. Consent can be withdrawn later by email.
