Overview
The VAM² SL is Focus's light, efficiency-oriented carbon e-MTB with a flex-pivot rear triangle: 125 mm of rear travel, a 130 mm fork and 29-inch wheels. Focus quotes 2,172 g for the 9-series MAX carbon frame (size M, including linkage and bolts) and offers two head-angle settings (66.5° or 65.5°).
It uses the Fazua Ride 60 (60 Nm, 450 W peak) with a fully integrated 430 Wh battery charged via a port on the seat tube. Claimed weights run from 16.3 kg (VAM² SL 9.0) to 19.1 kg (VAM² SL 8.7). These are 2024 model-year builds still listed on Focus's German site.
