Overview
The Focus THRON 7 (€3,699) is the entry build of the THRON: Bosch Performance Line CX (85 Nm) with 720 Wh, SR SUNTOUR XCR 36 X Boost fork, SR SUNTOUR Edge-X R shock, Shimano Cues and TEKTRO Gemini SL brakes. Claimed weight is 26.5 kg.
The THRON is Focus's aluminium trail e-MTB for long rides: 140 mm of F.O.L.D. rear travel, a 150 mm fork, 29-inch wheels and 4-piston brakes with 203 mm rotors on every build. The THRON 9 adds Bosch ABS with Magura Louise Elite brakes; the THRON 8 and 9 have an integrated rear light and a pre-installed front-light cable.
All builds use the Bosch Performance Line CX (85 Nm, 120 Nm via app update) with a 720 Wh or 800 Wh battery and are compatible with the 250 Wh range extender (up to 1,050 Wh). A USB-C port on the top tube, a hidden AirTag/Chipolo holder and a dropper post are standard. Claimed weights are 25.4–26.5 kg (size M, 720 Wh).
