Overview
The Focus THRON 9 (€5,699) is the top build of the THRON: Bosch Performance Line CX (85 Nm) with 720 Wh, FOX 36 AWL HD Sport fork, FOX Float Rhythm shock, Shimano Deore M7200 and MAGURA Louise Elite brakes. Claimed weight is 25.7 kg.
The THRON is Focus's aluminium trail e-MTB for long rides: 140 mm of F.O.L.D. rear travel, a 150 mm fork, 29-inch wheels and 4-piston brakes with 203 mm rotors on every build. The THRON 9 adds Bosch ABS with Magura Louise Elite brakes; the THRON 8 and 9 have an integrated rear light and a pre-installed front-light cable.
All builds use the Bosch Performance Line CX (85 Nm, 120 Nm via app update) with a 720 Wh or 800 Wh battery and are compatible with the 250 Wh range extender (up to 1,050 Wh). A USB-C port on the top tube, a hidden AirTag/Chipolo holder and a dropper post are standard. Claimed weights are 25.4–26.5 kg (size M, 720 Wh).
