Overview
Trickstuff Direttissima: four-piston (14/17 mm) hydraulic trail/enduro brake with Kevlar hoses and progressive lever linkage. 520 g per set, from €1,100 per set (MSRP).
The Direttissima is Trickstuff's four-piston all-rounder for aggressive trail and enduro riding, tuned for instinctive braking precision through the balance of braking force, system stiffness and minimal lever friction. A 9 mm pump piston feeds four 14/17 mm stainless-steel caliper pistons, and a progressive toggle-joint linkage increases force the further the lever is pulled.
Pressure-resistant Kevlar hoses and CNC-milled 7075 aluminium pump, lever and caliper give a conspicuously direct bite point, while the polymer (POM) pump piston and ball-bearing levers keep friction low and the pressure point consistent. Reach is tool-free adjustable and it uses the 850 POWER+ pad (also compatible with SRAM Guide). Limited special series such as Forest Green and Arctic Blue are also offered.
