Hope Vented Rotor: 3.3 mm three-piece finned floating disc for V4 brakes, 203 or 220 mm 6-bolt, 288 g (203 mm), £135 UK RRP.
The Vented Rotor is Hope's highest-performing disc for the harshest conditions, designed specifically for its V4 brakes. The outer is built from three pieces, with internal fins between the two braking surfaces that draw air through the rotor; Hope's dyno tests show up to 15% less heat build-up than its floating rotors.
The vented outer is joined to an aluminium centre in a true floating design with one degree of freedom, and the fins also help clear water for consistent wet-weather braking. It is offered in 203 and 220 mm, 6-bolt only, and appears in Hope's e-bike range.
