Overview
Hope EVO V6Ti: six-piston titanium-piston radial-mount brake for downhill, enduro and e-bikes; Mono Edition boxset £1,400 UK RRP.
The EVO V6Ti is Hope's six-piston flagship brake, built for riders pushing the limits of downhill, enduro and e-bike riding. Its single-piece CNC-machined caliper uses titanium, Ti-Nitride-coated, cross-drilled pistons and a large surface area to manage heat, and fits via a radial mount that frees up space for more piston area, bigger pads and a stiffer caliper.
The caliper needs a dedicated brake mount and a +20 mm rotor diameter, works only on post-mount forks and frames with 200 or 220 mm rotors, and accepts only 2.3 mm and 3.3 mm (Vented) rotors. To mark 20 years since the original Mono 6Ti, Hope currently offers it as a black-and-gold Mono Edition boxset limited to 1,000 serial-numbered sets.
