Overview

EXT Arma V4: coil downhill shock with PSR top-out, adjustable HBC and DLC-coated shaft, priced at EUR 1,100 (spring sold separately).

The Arma V4 is EXT's coil downhill shock, launched alongside the Storia V4 and sharing its refinements: PSR (Position Sensitive Rebound) hydraulic top-out, frequency-dependent damping, an externally adjustable HBC and a DLC-coated chrome-moly shaft. Unlike the Storia, it does without the LOK pedalling circuit.

The new HBC starts in the last 20% of the stroke, which EXT says allows a lower spring rate for compliance, traction and control. High- and low-speed compression are adjusted with 5 mm and 4 mm Allen keys, and a 55 psi bladder reservoir, EV2S fluid and new DLC/DHC coatings target sensitivity and durability.

  • Coil DH shock from the V4 series
  • PSR hydraulic top-out and frequency-dependent damping
  • Adjustable HBC acting in the last 20% of stroke
  • HSC/LSC adjustable with common 5 mm and 4 mm Allen keys
  • EUR 1,100 RRP (spring separate)
