Overview
The Lapierre Overvolt AM AL 5.8 (€4,999) is the entry build of the Overvolt AM: Bosch Performance Line CX with 800 Wh, Rockshox Domain Gold Isolator R 15x110 29 170 mm fork, Lapierre Shock 205x60 mm Trunnion/30x8 mm shock, Shimano CUES U6000 10/11s Shadow+ and Shimano M4100 4 pistons brakes.
The aluminium Overvolt AM is Lapierre's all-mountain e-MTB, with handling that Lapierre says borders on enduro. It runs mullet wheels (29-inch front, 27.5-inch rear) and a 170 mm fork.
All three builds use the Bosch Performance Line CX motor with an 800 Wh PowerTube battery. The 9.8 and 7.8 come with Fox Factory or RockShox Select suspension; the AL 5.8 is the budget version, with a RockShox Domain fork, Lapierre's own shock and a Shimano CUES 11-speed drivetrain.
