Overview
The Lapierre Overvolt AM 7.8 (€5,999) is a mid-range build of the Overvolt AM: Bosch Performance Line CX with 800 Wh, Rockshox ZEB Select Charger RC Boost fork, Rockshox Super Deluxe Select RT 205x60 mm shock, Shimano Deore RD-M6260-12s and Shimano Deore BR-M6120 brakes.
The aluminium Overvolt AM is Lapierre's all-mountain e-MTB, with handling that Lapierre says borders on enduro. It runs mullet wheels (29-inch front, 27.5-inch rear) and a 170 mm fork.
All three builds use the Bosch Performance Line CX motor with an 800 Wh PowerTube battery. The 9.8 and 7.8 come with Fox Factory or RockShox Select suspension; the AL 5.8 is the budget version, with a RockShox Domain fork, Lapierre's own shock and a Shimano CUES 11-speed drivetrain.
