Overview
The Lapierre Overvolt AM 9.8 (€7,499) is the top build of the Overvolt AM: Bosch Performance Line CX with 800 Wh, FOX Factory 38 Float F-S E-Optimized fork, FOX Factory Float X Factory Series shock, Shimano Deore XT RD-M8260-SGS 12s and Shimano Deore XT BR-M8220 brakes.
The aluminium Overvolt AM is Lapierre's all-mountain e-MTB, with handling that Lapierre says borders on enduro. It runs mullet wheels (29-inch front, 27.5-inch rear) and a 170 mm fork.
All three builds use the Bosch Performance Line CX motor with an 800 Wh PowerTube battery. The 9.8 and 7.8 come with Fox Factory or RockShox Select suspension; the AL 5.8 is the budget version, with a RockShox Domain fork, Lapierre's own shock and a Shimano CUES 11-speed drivetrain.
