Overview

The Focus JAM² SL 9.9 (€8,999) is a mid-range build of the JAM² SL: Fazua Ride 60 (60 Nm) with 430 Wh, FOX 36 Float Performance Elite 29 fork, FOX Float X Performance shock, Shimano Deore XT M8100 and Shimano XT M8120 brakes. Claimed weight is 19.2 kg.

The JAM² SL is Focus's light carbon e-MTB: a carbon frame (MAX carbon on the 9-series) with 150 mm of F.O.L.D. GEN3 rear travel, a 160 mm fork and 29-inch wheels, powered by the Fazua Ride 60 (60 Nm, 450 W peak) with a 430 Wh battery fully integrated in the down tube.

The head angle (65.5° or 64.5°) and chainstay length (440 or 447 mm) are adjustable via flip chips. Claimed weights run from 17.9 kg (JAM² SL 9.0) to 20.2 kg (JAM² SL 8.7). These builds are from the 2023 model year and are still listed on Focus's German site.
