Overview
The Focus JAM LTD (€7,499) is the top build of the JAM: Bosch Performance Line CX (85 Nm) with 600 Wh, Fox 36 Factory fork, Fox Float X Factory shock, Shimano Deore XT Di2 and Shimano Deore XT BR-M8120 brakes. Claimed weight is 24.4 kg.
The JAM is Focus's aluminium all-mountain e-MTB, launched as part of the MY27 line-up together with the new SAM and THRON. A 7005 hydroformed aluminium frame with polished welds, a semi-integrated shock and C.I.S. 2.0 integrated cable routing gives 150 mm of F.O.L.D. rear travel, paired with a 160 mm fork, 29-inch wheels and 2.5–2.6-inch tyres.
All four builds use the 5th-generation Bosch Performance Line CX (85 Nm, 120 Nm via eBike Flow app update) with a choice of a 600 Wh or 800 Wh PowerTube battery; a 250 Wh range extender fits all sizes, for up to 1,050 Wh. Claimed weights (size M, 600 Wh) run from 24.4 kg for the JAM LTD to 25.4 kg for the JAM 7.
