Overview
The Intend Hero is a 2030 g upside-down 29" trail/enduro fork with 140–170 mm travel and the OPT damper with Smooth Operator; €1,849 incl. VAT.
The Hero is Intend's lightweight upside-down all-mountain/enduro fork, made to fit modern trail bikes. It is designed to be as light as possible without performance compromises, using the same air spring and damping as Intend's gravity-oriented forks, now with the OPTimized damper and Smooth Operator compression unit.
Every Intend fork is designed, engineered and tested in Freiburg, Germany, and assembled by hand in-house one at a time; Intend says bushings are calibrated to each tube, crowns are bonded to prevent creaking and each fork is aligned individually. Two bottom caps with alternative progression are included, travel changes need no extra air shaft, and no special tools are required for service.
