Overview
The Intend Flash 38 is a 38 mm upside-down freeride/e-MTB fork with 160–190 mm travel, 15/20 mm axle and 2625 g; €2,349 incl. VAT.
The Flash 38 is the ultimate evolution of Intend's Flash platform and the burliest single-crown fork the brand has built, with 38 mm stanchions and an even burlier crown and upper assembly. Intend says it was born for freeride, downhill and big-hitting e-bikes.
Every Intend fork is designed, engineered and tested in Freiburg, Germany, and assembled by hand in-house one at a time; Intend says bushings are calibrated to each tube, crowns are bonded to prevent creaking and each fork is aligned individually. It combines the OPTimized damper and Smooth Operator with the Travel Ranger air spring, natural hard-anodized stanchions with black CNC lower guards, two progression caps, and a dropout/axle design that takes 15 or 20 mm hubs by swapping the axle.
