The Dominion A2 brings the Dominion A4's performance to a compact two-piston caliper and is aimed by Hayes at cross-country and trail riders. It shares the factory-tuned master cylinder with minimal dead stroke and a crisp bite point, the cold-forged caliper with KingPin pad-retention bolt, and Crosshair caliper alignment.
The caliper uses 24 mm pistons, the system runs DOT 5.1 fluid through a Kevlar hose with the Two-Stroke dual-port bleed, and QuickBite² pairs with D-Series rotors. It is available with the regular lever or the SRL (Short Reach Lever) for smaller hands; Hayes quotes 303 g with 100 cm hose and mount hardware.
