Overview
Hayes' Dominion-matched D-Series rotor, 1.95 mm thick with MRC noise cancellation, in 160–220 mm; RRP 67 EUR (180/203/220 mm) on Hayes' EU store.
The D-Series rotor was developed specifically for Hayes' Dominion brakes, with the aim of strong braking without howling or vibration. Its MRC (Modal Resonance Cancellation) uses FEA-optimised modal shapes cut into the rotor that are designed to oppose those of Hayes' T106 semi-metallic and T100 sintered pads, cancelling noise and vibration.
Material thickness is 1.95 mm to help heat dissipation, and the QuickBite² surface is designed for a fast, consistent burnish. Hayes sells it in 180, 203 and 220 mm, with a separate 160 mm listing; adapter brackets are sold separately.
