Overview
The Simplon Cure :e Core+ (€5,339) is a mid-range build of the Cure :e: Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 (85 Nm) with 800 Wh, RockShox Recon Silver RL fork, SRAM Eagle 70 transmission and Magura Louise Elite brakes. Claimed weight is 21.6 kg.
The Cure :e is Simplon's carbon e-MTB hardtail for tours and trail riding: 29-inch wheels with 2.6-inch-capable clearance, a 120 mm fork, a 66.5° head angle (66° in size S) and a low standover height. The Bosch System Controller sits in the top tube.
The Core build uses the Bosch Performance Line PX Gen5 with a 540 Wh battery; Core+ and Expert get the Performance Line CX Gen5 with 800 Wh. A range extender or DualBattery setup adds capacity, and the system weight limit is 150 kg.
