Overview
The Rose File Plus XTR SL (€6,900) is the top build of the File Plus: TQ HPR60 (60 Nm) with 580 Wh, FOX 36 SL Float Factory GripX fork, FOX Float Evol LV 2POS Factory shock, Shimano XTR Di2 and Shimano XTR brakes. Claimed weight is 18.6 kg.
The File Plus is Rose's light carbon trail e-MTB, built around the TQ HPR60 motor (60 Nm, 350 W) and a 580 Wh battery that Rose says charges fully in about 3 hours. Motor, display and controls are integrated into the frame, and riding modes can be set in the TQ E-Bike app.
It runs 29-inch wheels with 140 mm of rear travel and a 150 mm fork, plus an angle-adjust headset for a 64° or 65° head angle. The XTR SL build uses a 140 mm fork and 130 mm shock. Rose quotes 18.6 to 20.3 kg depending on build.
