Overview
The Rose File Plus 70 (€4,900) is the entry build of the File Plus: TQ HPR60 (60 Nm) with 580 Wh, Rock Shox Lyrik Select fork, Rock Shox Super Deluxe Select shock, SRAM Eagle 70 Transmission and SRAM DB8 Stealth brakes. Claimed weight is 20.3 kg.
The File Plus is Rose's light carbon trail e-MTB, built around the TQ HPR60 motor (60 Nm, 350 W) and a 580 Wh battery that Rose says charges fully in about 3 hours. Motor, display and controls are integrated into the frame, and riding modes can be set in the TQ E-Bike app.
It runs 29-inch wheels with 140 mm of rear travel and a 150 mm fork, plus an angle-adjust headset for a 64° or 65° head angle. The XTR SL build uses a 140 mm fork and 130 mm shock. Rose quotes 18.6 to 20.3 kg depending on build.
