Industry Nine Sector AL Classic: aluminum trail wheelset with Hydra2 J-bend hubs (870 points POE), 28.5mm internal rim width, 29", 1870g (29" set). $999 per wheelset.
Built for trail riding, a Hollow Bead aluminum wheel system tuned for everyday reliability, balanced handling, and all-around performance. The Sector Aluminum is Industry Nine's trail wheel line in the 2026 "One Roof" lineup, built around extruded 6069 Hollow Bead aluminium rims and hubs machined in Asheville, NC. Every wheel line is offered on three build platforms: SYSTEM (Hydra2 System hub with I9 alloy System Spokes), CLASSIC (Hydra2 hub, Sapim J-bend spokes) and 1/1 (1/1 hub, Sapim J-bend spokes).
The CLASSIC build uses the Hydra2 J-bend hub with 870 points of engagement (0.41°) and Sapim J-bend (steel) spokes. The rim has a 28.5mm internal width and comes in 29" with 28h & 32h drillings; wheels are built to order with 12x148 or 12x157 rear spacing, 6-bolt or Centerlock rotors and HG, Micro Spline or XD drivers.
