Industry Nine Fuse CR Classic: e-bike specific carbon eMTB wheelset with Hydra2 J-bend hubs (870 points POE), 33mm internal rim width, 29" / 27.5", 2043g (29" set). $1,799 per wheelset.
Built for e-bike riding, a Convergence carbon wheel system designed to handle sustained torque, added weight, and repeated load. The Fuse Carbon is Industry Nine's e-bike wheel line in the 2026 "One Roof" lineup, built around hand-laid WR1 carbon rims made in Kamloops, BC and hubs machined in Asheville, NC. Every wheel line is offered on three build platforms: SYSTEM (Hydra2 System hub with I9 alloy System Spokes), CLASSIC (Hydra2 hub, Sapim J-bend spokes) and 1/1 (1/1 hub, Sapim J-bend spokes).
The CLASSIC build uses the Hydra2 J-bend hub with 870 points of engagement (0.41°) and Sapim J-bend (steel) spokes. The rim has a 33mm internal width and comes in 29" / 27.5" with 28h & 32h drillings; wheels are built to order with 12x148 or 12x157 rear spacing, 6-bolt or Centerlock rotors and HG, Micro Spline or XD drivers. Industry Nine says Fuse "wasn't adapted for e-bike loads. It was engineered for them from the first version."
