Overview
Tigon is Cane Creek's air-charged coil shock for 130–160 mm trail and enduro bikes, 441 g (210, without spring); USD 699.99 in the US store.
Tigon is Cane Creek's air-charged coil shock, which the brand calls the world's only shock combining coil sensitivity with progressive air support. It tracks and grips like a coil, while air in the RAMP tube adds big-hit and bottom-out support; removing air gives a plusher, more ground-hugging feel.
It is optimised for trail and enduro bikes with 130–160 mm rear travel and uses DB twin-tube damping with independent high- and low-speed compression, low-speed rebound and a two-position Climb Switch. Cane Creek says it is significantly stronger than a standard coil shock, suiting clevis/yoke-driven frames.
- Air-charged coil: coil feel with tunable air progression
- Optimised for 130–160 mm rear travel
- Independent HSC/LSC, LSR, 2-position Climb Switch
- 12.7 mm shaft, strong for clevis/yoke frames
- Linear VALT springs only
