Overview
The Trek Rail+ 9.7 Gen 5 (£5,500) is a mid-range build of the Rail+: carbon main frame, alloy stays frame, Bosch Performance Line CX motor with 800 Wh, RockShox Lyrik fork, RockShox Super Deluxe shock, SRAM Eagle 70 and Shimano MT620 hydraulic disc brakes.
The Rail+ is Trek's full-power enduro e-MTB: 160 mm of travel front and rear, mixed wheels (27.5-inch on size S) and the Bosch Performance Line CX motor with a removable 800 Wh battery (RIB 2.0). The Rail+ 5 and 8 use an Alpha Platinum aluminium frame; the 9.7 and 9.8 have an OCLV Mountain Carbon main frame. Mino Link and an angle-adjust headset let you tune the geometry.
