Overview
The Intend Hover Monocoque Light is a 299 g short-stroke (37.5–45 mm) air shock for XC and downcountry bikes with custom tune; from €1,099 incl. VAT.
The Hover Monocoque Light is the shorter-stroke, more compact version of Intend's Hover Monocoque air shock, aimed at XC and 'downduro' bikes. At 299 g it is deliberately not the lightest shock, keeping enough capacity for demanding descents, while sharing the damping circuit, three-position lockout, seals and surfaces of the bigger Hover.
To save weight the progression is fixed rather than tunable. Each shock is assembled by hand in Freiburg with a custom shim-stack tune for rider weight, frame and riding style, and ships with a high-pressure shock pump. The IBS mount converts between Trunnion and Metric, and all strokes can be reduced in 2.5 mm steps.
