Overview

Helm MKII Coil is the coil-sprung version of Cane Creek's 35 mm trail/enduro fork, 130–160 mm travel (29"), 2340 g claimed; USD 1,099.99 in the US store.

Helm MKII is Cane Creek's versatile single-crown mountain bike fork for downcountry, trail and enduro bikes. It is designed to be very plush yet supportive, with updated MKII damper and seals, independent high- and low-speed compression and a chassis Cane Creek describes as burly enough for aggressive riding.

Travel can be changed at home without extra parts, and each fork is hand-built and individually dyno-tested in North Carolina. Helm is offered with an air spring (maximum tunability) or a coil spring (best sensitivity and ground-hugging feel); 29" forks come in gloss black with matte decals, and colour decal kits and Chroma Studio options are available.

  • Coil spring for maximum sensitivity and ground-hugging feel
  • HSC (10 pos.), LSC (17 pos.), LSR (10 pos.), spring preload
  • Internal travel change without extra parts
  • Four spring rates (35–65 lb/in), 55 lb fitted
