The Trek Fuel+ LX 9.8 XT Di2 Gen 2 (£8,250) is a mid-range build of the Fuel+ LX: carbon frame, TQ HPR60 motor with 580 Wh, Fox Factory 38 fork, Fox DHX2 shock, Shimano XT Di2 M8260 and Shimano XT M8220 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes.
The Fuel+ Gen 2 is Trek's mid-power trail e-MTB: TQ's HPR60 motor (60 Nm, 350 W peak) with a removable 580 Wh battery, in three configurations — EX (145 mm rear / 150 mm fork, mixed wheels), MX (150 mm rear, mixed wheels) and LX (160 mm rear / 170 mm fork, 29-inch wheels).
Most builds use an OCLV Mountain Carbon frame (the EX 8 is aluminium) with an angle-adjust headset, adjustable leverage rate and interchangeable rocker links and lower shock mount.
