Overview
The Simplon Rift AL:e Core+ (€5,594) is a mid-range build of the Rift AL:e: Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 (85 Nm) with 800 Wh, RockShox Psylo Gold RC fork, RockShox Deluxe Select shock, SRAM Eagle 70 transmission and Magura Louise Elite brakes. Claimed weight is 26.5 kg.
The Rift AL:e is the aluminium version of the Rift :e: a 140/140 mm trail and all-mountain e-MTB with a gravity-cast three-piece main frame, 29-inch wheels, a 65° head angle and a 150 kg system weight rating. Hidden mounts take fenders, a kickstand and a rack.
The Core build uses the Bosch Performance Line PX Gen5 with 600 Wh; Core+ and Expert use the Performance Line CX Gen5 with 800 Wh. A DualBattery setup gives up to 1,345 Wh.
