Flims Laax Falera in Graubünden is one of the simplest places in Switzerland to ride an e-bike. According to the official e-bike page, e-bikes are treated like normal bicycles: you don't need a permit or licence, and you may use footpaths and hiking trails (assistance up to 25 km/h).

Trails

The 2026 Bikeguide lists more than 330 km of trails, with 10 named singletrails plus 8 tech and style trails. Named lift-served trails include Runca (7.6 km), Never End (7 km) and the beginner-friendly Foppa (3.5 km). The signature descent, "From Glacier to Rhine", starts near 2,900 m and drops 2,460 m over 35 km.

Charging and range

Free charging stations are spread across the region, with common e-bike cables and standard sockets — including Startgels, Vorab, Alp Stalla, the Laaxersee car park and the Laax beach. Flims Laax gives a typical battery range of 30–60 km.

Rental

e-MTB rental runs from mid-May to mid-October. The Bikeguide 2026 lists Green Valley Bikeshop, LAAX Rental, Meini Sport & Mode, Menzli Sport and SPORT BEAT.

Lifts
