The northern tip of Lake Garda around Riva has 126 bike routes and eight official e-MTB tours — but some trails are closed to bikes, and a Trentino law bans bikes on very steep or narrow paths.
Trails are open to bikes unless a municipality has closed them; a 1993 provincial law bans bikes on paths steeper than 20% or narrower than the bike. No e-bike-specific rule found.
Shuttle services are listed officially; their e-bike policy was not found.

Respect municipal trail closures and the Trentino rule against bikes on paths over 20% gradient or narrower than the bike. Signs can be missing, so check maps before you ride.
Garda Trentino — Riva del Garda, Arco and the surrounding valleys at the north end of Lake Garda — lists 126 bike routes and 73.6 km of bike paths, and has hosted the Bike Festival in Riva since 1995. The 2026 festival programme included an E-Bike Marathon.
Official e-MTB tours
The tourist board publishes eight e-MTB tours, from 6.1 km to 67.7 km. The longest-known classic is the Tremalzo Garda XXL: 66.5 km with 2,490 m of climbing and about ten hours of riding. The Rifugio Pernici Trail-Tour covers 41.3 km with 1,810 m of climbing.
Know the rules before you ride
Not every path is open to bikes. Trails are generally free to ride unless a municipality has closed them — known closures have included the 422B, the Sentiero della Regina, 637 "Anaconda", the Sentiero della Pace and the upper 669 (list from 2016). On top of that, a 1993 provincial law bans bikes on paths steeper than 20% or narrower than the bike. In 2019 the alpine club SAT warned that ban signs were often missing, so check a current trail map before you go. We found no rules specific to e-bikes.
Rental and shuttles
The official bike page lists rental facilities and shuttle services. We could not confirm whether shuttles take e-bikes or where to charge on the trail.
